Laboratory Technicians Take blood samples for tests, some may be part of an IV Team, trained to start IVs. They work both in the lab or making rounds to patient’s rooms as necessary.
Imaging Technicians Work in the radiology or X-ray department, they are trained to operate ultrasound machines, computerized axial tomography (CAT) scanners, and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scanners.
Nuclear Medicine Technicians Assist cancer specialists (MDs) in nuclear medicine with scans using radioactive substances placed in the body to detect or help cure cancer.
EKG Technicians Perform electrocardiograms. Administer various stress tests, including treadmill tests, Holter monitoring, and echocardiograms.
Pharmacist  
Pharmacy Technicians Work in the pharmacy replacing stock and deliver medications to hospital floors.
Health Educators Provide special teaching and resources to patients who are newly diagnosed with conditions that require lifestyle changes.
